  • Identity Information: Employee ID and Date of Birth. These are used strictly for verification and authentication purposes to ensure that only the correct employee can access their specific records.

  • Service Records: Information you voluntarily enter into the application, including Family Details, Educational Qualifications, Leave Accounts, Salary Bills, Loans, and other service-related particulars.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Cloud Storage: Your data is stored securely in a private cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore). It is structured in a secure manner where data retrieval is restricted and requires a matching Employee ID and Date of Birth validation.

  • Local Storage (Auto-Login): To enhance user experience and provide offline capabilities, the app stores your Employee ID locally on your device using secure local storage. This allows you to access the app without re-entering your credentials every time.

4. Security Recommendations (Crucial)

Since this application uses a convenient login mechanism (ID + DOB) instead of passwords/OTP:

  • Device Security: You must secure your mobile device with a Screen Lock (PIN, Pattern, or Biometric) to prevent unauthorized access to your data.

  • Shared Devices: DO NOT use this application on public computers, internet cafes, or shared mobile phones. The "Auto-Login" feature could allow others to access your data if the device is shared.

5. User Control & Data Deletion

You retain full ownership and control over your data.

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to permanently delete your entire account and all associated records from both our Cloud Server and your local device at any time.

  • How to Delete: Use the "Clear My Data" button located in the sidebar menu of the application. Note: This action is immediate and irreversible.

  • Not an Official Government App: This is a personal utility tool developed by EduTelugu to assist employees in maintaining their own records. It is not an official application of any government body or department.

  • Sensitive Data: While we implement standard security measures, users are advised not to store highly sensitive financial secrets (such as ATM PINs, Netbanking Passwords, or UPI PINs) within the text fields of this application.
