  • Audio Recordings:

    • Voice memos/incident logs recorded directly through the app's audio feature for duty reporting.

3. How We Store and Process Data

  • Local Storage Only:

    • All collected location logs, KML files, geotagged photos, and voice recordings are stored locally on your device (Internal Storage / Room Database).

  • No Third-Party Sharing:

    • We do not sell, trade, or transfer any personal data, location tracks, photos, or audio recordings to third parties. Data remains strictly on your device or shared manually by you (e.g., exporting KML files via WhatsApp or other apps of your choice).

4. Background Location & Foreground Service

  • The app utilizes a foreground service to maintain continuous GPS tracking during active patrol shifts (or 10 AM – 6 PM automated shift monitoring).

  • Users receive a persistent ongoing notification when the tracking service is active and can stop the service or duty tracking at any time from the app interface.

5. Permissions Required

  • ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION / ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION: For route and patrol tracking.

  • CAMERA: For capturing geotagged inspection photos.

  • RECORD_AUDIO: For voice incident notes.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To display active foreground service status.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Data persists locally on your device until manually deleted by the user via the app's built-in record management or by uninstalling the application.
